Privacy policy
What data we record
General personal data
We process your general personal data. Personal data is any type of information relating to an identifiable natural person. The natural person is identifiable if the available information allows conclusions to be drawn about the identity of the person.
The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you about the processing of your personal data that we collect from you when you visit our website. Our data protection practices comply with the statutory provisions of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The following privacy policy serves to fulfill the information obligations arising from the FADP and the GDPR. These can be found, for example, in Art. 19 ff. DSG and Art. 13 ff. of the GDPR.
Example: Your name, IP address and home address are personal data.
Provided data
You often provide us with your personal data yourself. Whenever you enter your personal data and transmit it to us, it is deemed to have been provided to us. The transfer of data to us is generally voluntary, but in some cases it is absolutely necessary in order to be able to use our services.
Example: You enter your data in a contact form or register for a newsletter.
Data collected
When you use our services, we sometimes collect your data without your active participation being required. This data is usually data about your device and data about user behavior.
Example: We collect data about the operating system of the device you used to access our website.
Product development
We strive to continuously improve our services. To this end, we use your personal data for the development and improvement of our products and services.
Example: We collect data about visitor behavior on the website in order to constantly improve user-friendliness.
Data transfer
We pass on your personal data to companies that can decide for themselves how they use the data. This is usually done because it is necessary to comply with legal regulations, when an outstanding debt is transferred to a debt collection agency or to identify fraudulent activities.
Example: A legal requirement obliges us to pass on your data to an authority.
Worldwide
We work with providers from all over the world to process your personal data. This allows us to benefit from a global offering and access the best and most reliable services. The country to which the data is exported may not have the same data protection standard as Switzerland.
Example: We use the services of a cloud provider such as Google, which is based in the USA.

- Contact data (cell phone number, e-mail address, etc.);
- Financial data (e.g. account details);
- Online identifiers (e.g. cookie identifiers, IP addresses);
- Location and traffic data;
- Sound and image recordings;
- particularly sensitive data (e.g. biometric data or information about your health).
6.2 Under what conditions do we process your data?
We process your data in good faith (Art. 6 para. 2 FADP and Art. 2 Swiss Civil Code) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest) and in accordance with the purposes set out in this privacy policy. In doing so, we ensure transparent and proportionate processing (Art. 6 para. 1 FADP).
If, in exceptional cases, we are unable to comply with these principles, the data processing may still be lawful because there is a justification. In particular, the following grounds for justification may apply:
- Your consent;
- the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures;
- our legitimate interests, provided that your interests do not prevail.
The temporary (automated) storage of data is necessary for the course of a website visit in order to enable delivery of the website. Personal data is also stored and processed to maintain the compatibility of our website for as many visitors as possible and to combat misuse and troubleshooting. For this purpose, it is necessary to log the technical data of the accessing computer in order to be able to react as early as possible to display errors, attacks on our IT systems and/or errors in the functionality of our website. In addition, we use the data to optimize the website and to generally ensure the security of our IT systems.
6.3 How can you withdraw your consent?

These partners and cooperation companies are independently responsible for the personal data received. After the data has been transmitted, the data protection regulations of the respective partner apply.

In this case, the social media providers learn that you are accessing their platform from our website. The social media providers can use the data collected in this way for their own purposes.

d. Transfer abroad
Under certain circumstances, your personal data may be transferred to companies abroad as part of order processing. These companies are committed to data protection to the same extent as we are. The transfer can take place worldwide.
If the level of data protection does not correspond to that of Switzerland, we carry out a prior risk assessment and contractually ensure that the same protection as in Switzerland is guaranteed (e.g. by means of the EU Commission’s new standard contractual clauses or other legally required measures). If our risk assessment is negative, we will take additional technical measures to protect your data. You can access the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses at the following link.

If we no longer need such data from you to carry out the services, the data will be blocked and we will only use it for accounting and tax purposes.

We may restrict or refuse to provide information or data release if this conflicts with our legal obligations, legitimate own or public interests or the interests of a third party.
The processing of your application is subject to the statutory processing period of 30 days. However, we may extend this deadline due to a high volume of inquiries, for legal or technical reasons or because we need further information from you. You will be informed about the extension of the deadline in a timely manner, at least in text form.

You have the option at any time to request the restriction of processing in accordance with Article 18 of the GDPR or to object to the processing in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR and to request that the data be corrected or deleted in accordance with Articles 16 and 17 of the GDPR. We can reject the request if legal regulations require us to store it for a longer period of time or without changes or if there is a permit that conflicts with your request.
Please note that exercising your rights may conflict with contractual agreements and may have corresponding effects on the execution of the contract (e.g. premature termination of the contract or cost consequences).
c. Legal recourse
If you are affected by the processing of personal data, you have the right to enforce your rights in court or to submit a report to the responsible supervisory authority.
